Re: Fuel light bingo

Driving around looking for a cheaper petrol station seems false economy... The savings would be tiny... I never look at the price.. The car needs feeding, I feed it... ;) :D Nah, just schedule in a run past the cheapest local one when you're below 20% - I pointedly avoid filling up at the exp...

Re: Puma st 1.0

Hi all, Just seen an ST-Line in town. With additional ST front and rear badge AND…a Mountune Yellow badge on the tailgate! I think the introduction of a 1 litre “ST” has made owners think any Puma may as well be an ST due to the 1 litre engine. The world’s going daft! BTW. From various phrases used...

Re: Engine jerking/stuttering under acceleration

Reading through this thread regarding spark plugs...and my personal opinion is that it is ridiculous to change spark plugs every 12 months/12500 miles. I could understand it if it was an exotic car in a high state of tune...but its just a run of the mill Ford. My car will have covered less than 300...

Re: New Ford EV teased

You'd be wrong then. There is plenty of power available overnight, and to access the best tariffs you let the provider decide when to start charging your car. Sure, if everyone plugged in a car (from empty) at half past 5, the grid would fall over. But: the average person does 18 miles a day. That'...

Re: New Ford EV teased

Doesn't matter how the gas is made - the plants are 50% efficient: considerably better than an ICE is. And there will be an ever increasing number of days/hours where we’ll have excess power available, thanks to the silly amount of wind turbines we seem to have installed - perfect for dumping into a...

Re: New Ford EV teased

Nobody seems to have come up with a solution yet for charging them if you live in a house with no drive. People keep saying this - I think it will be solved through legistlation: don't have offstreet parking (or a rented offstreet parking space) - you can't own a car. We don't tolerate anything els...

Re: ST differences

I see what you mean about the ST on the dash.

Mine is different (could be a Puma, can't remember) - however I have never, and will likely never, update it.

Why change what works.

Re: ST differences

Nope, no red stitching anywhere in the car.

It has ST embossed at the bottom of the wheel (that is red).

Re: ST differences

Yes, they were in it when I picked it up (new).

Also, the stitching is white. (That might be because Recaros though)
