Re: Buying a new (old) one......
Thanks for that. Typical discount at the moment is £2500 which isn't enough to interest me, some are trying only £500.

Buying a new (old) one......
Anyone bought a 1.5 recently as I am giving serious thought to trading in my one and getting a last 1.5 order in this month. Will be going for standard in black again so no PP as it's a waste of time on these in my opinion and just something else to go wrong. As much as I dislike the wheels, I can a...

Re: Steering Noises
FIXED....FINALLY!!!! I asked a couple of times for the name of the part replaced but on both times I got the following "We have replaced the shaft that goes from the rack to the motor" Make of that what you will, but my 18 month journey to get to the bottom of the steering noise and knock...

ST Insurance
Hi All, It's that time of year once more and I noticed something a bit amiss and wanted to gauge other "ST" owners insurance quotes. I reinsure 2 cars at the same time, and they have both tracked similar in annual increases to their premiums. However, this year my ST has gone up the best p...

Re: ST differences
As someone with one of the last original ST's, I'm so glad I did. Not wishing to diss anyone's car, but having Recaros is synonymous with faster fords since the 90s. I also don't like the dark wheels so removing those as an option and forcing the dark ones on everyone was a mistake.

Re: ST Issues
Issue One: Gear box - This is certainly tight / notchy as in you have to follow the gate, but I find it a lovely gearchange myself and have never had a single crunch in 30k miles. I love the way it's still as it was when new. Issue Two: Driver slide door trim - Not had any Trim issues at all. Issue ...

Chips Away....or not is the question!
With the sun finally starting to show its face, my attention turns to touching up the number of small paint chips on my bonnet. Being Black and the primer being white means they have to go. However my question is, has anyone had experience with chips away actually touching up chips? I ask as last ye...

Re: ST differences
My Jan 22 ST which has Recaros has white stitching I believe and the mats have the ST badge sown into them as per the Mean Green above. I assume the changes the OP mention all came with the change to own brand seats.
